The story spoke of a princess who had appeared in an age surrounded by darkness. According to the legend, the blue-haired princess would be reborn again and again, returning after many years. But there was something that unsettled Fuka more than the story itself: the princess was somehow connected to the name Fuka. Even so, the more she read, the harder it became to ignore the strange feeling growing inside her.

When Fuka finally left work, the rain had stopped, but the words of the book remained in her thoughts. Here is the scene → [view post] On her way home, she decided to read it once more, hoping that another look might make everything feel less mysterious. Then, just outside her home, a gentle wind passed through the evening air, and she heard her own name being whispered. Fuka turned around, but there was no one there.

Later, lying in bed with the mysterious book beside her, she tried to make sense of everything that had happened that day. The book, the legend, the blue-haired princess, and the voice in the wind were too many strange coincidences to simply forget. For the moment, however, Fuka chose not to search for an answer. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep, while the mystery quietly waited beside her. Here is the scene → [view post]

The Incident of the Kitsune Statue – Part I

The morning had begun like any other at the Tokyo photographic archives. Fuka was sitting at her desk, completely absorbed in her work. Surrounded by old documents, photographs waiting to be cataloged, and neatly stacked files, time seemed to pass peacefully. Here is the scene → [view post]

Around mid-morning, someone knocked on the office door. It was a courier holding a small package addressed to her. Fuka looked at it with curiosity. She couldn’t remember ordering anything, and the sender’s name was completely unfamiliar. After thanking the courier, she placed the package on her desk and, unable to resist her curiosity, carefully opened it.

Inside, she found a small statue of a Kitsune. It had been carved with extraordinary detail: its nine tails seemed almost alive, and the fox’s eyes carried a strangely lifelike expression. Fuka spent a few moments admiring it, wondering who could have sent her such an unusual object. Here is the scene → [view post]

It was at that very moment that something impossible happened.

Thin streams of crimson light began to emerge from the statue. At first, they were faint, almost invisible, but within seconds they grew brighter and brighter until they completely surrounded Fuka. She instinctively tried to step back, but her body no longer seemed to obey her. Confused visions flashed before her eyes: an ancient shrine, thousands of flower petals dancing in the wind, and a young princess with long blue hair. Then everything faded into darkness.

When several of her colleagues entered the office a few minutes later, they found Fuka unconscious at her desk. The mysterious statue was still resting exactly where she had left it, as though nothing had happened. The strange crimson light, however, had completely disappeared. Here is the scene → [view post]

An ambulance arrived within minutes, and Fuka was rushed to the hospital. The doctors performed every examination they could think of, but none of them could explain what had happened. Her vital signs were perfectly normal, and there was no evidence of injury, yet she showed no sign of waking up.

The news quickly reached Kyoka and Sayuri. The two young women rushed to the hospital and made their way to Fuka’s room. Sitting beside her bed, they watched over her with growing concern. She looked as though she were simply asleep, but no one could understand why she would not wake.

An almost unnatural silence filled the room. No one could have imagined that what appeared to be a mysterious accident was, in truth, the very first step in a story that would change Fuka’s life forever.
