Ever since the strange encounters of the past few days, Fuka‘s nights had become increasingly restless.
Sleep no longer brought peaceful dreams. Instead, she found herself wandering through strange places where mysterious figures from ancient legends silently watched her from the shadows. Every time she woke up, the images felt vivid, as if they were trying to tell her something she could not yet understand.
Unable to keep everything to herself, Fuka decided to share her worries with Kyoka and Sayuri. She told them about the recurring dreams, the mysterious woman dressed in black, and the growing feeling that these events were somehow connected. Here is the scene → [view post]
Both friends listened patiently. Kyoka encouraged her to trust her instincts without letting fear take over, while Sayuri searched for more practical explanations. Their different perspectives helped Fuka feel calmer, even if none of them could explain why the dreams felt so incredibly real. Here is the scene → [view post]
For the first time, Fuka realized that whatever was happening, she would not have to face it alone.
Some weeks at work pass by quietly, while others leave behind memories that are hard to forget.
One morning, Fuka arrived at the office with a smile, greeting her colleagues before settling at her desk. The familiar atmosphere of the archive always helped her start the day on the right foot. Here is the scene → [view post]
Later, she took a short coffee break by the window. Looking out over Tokyo, she watched the city moving below, enjoying a few peaceful minutes before returning to her work. Here is the scene → [view post]
A few days later, during her morning subway ride, her attention was caught by the news on her phone. Reports about the earthquake that had struck Japan on April 26, 2026, filled the screen. Even though she was far from the affected areas, the images and stories left her deeply concerned for everyone involved. Here is the scene → [view post]
Back at the office, she found it difficult to concentrate. Tetsuya noticed her thoughtful expression and stopped by her desk to ask if everything was alright. Their conversation was simple, yet comforting. His calm attitude and genuine kindness made Fuka feel a little lighter, and once again she found herself thinking what an interesting person he was. Later that afternoon, while organizing documents, Fuka suddenly realized that her thoughts had drifted away from work. Instead of thinking about reports or photographs, she was wondering what Tetsuya might be doing at that very moment.
Not every day has to be filled with adventures. Sometimes it’s the small, ordinary moments that make life feel special.
During a walk through the neighborhood, Fuka stopped to play with a few friendly kittens she met along the street. Their playful energy and gentle purring instantly brightened her day. Here is the scene → [view post]
Later, she found herself watching a beautiful sunset over Tokyo. As the sky turned shades of orange and pink, she quietly admired the city, grateful for such a peaceful moment.
Back home, a familiar question appeared: “What should I cook tonight?” After standing in front of the refrigerator for a few minutes, she finally made up her mind. Here is the scene → [view post]
In the end, she prepared a delicious rolled omelette. Simple, comforting, and homemade—it was the perfect way to end the day. Here is the scene → [view post]
Sometimes happiness is hidden in the little moments we almost forget to notice.
Fuka‘s day began on a cheerful note. She woke up in a good mood as the morning sunlight gently filled her apartment in Tokyo. After enjoying a quiet breakfast, she settled onto the sofa with a book, looking forward to a few peaceful moments of relaxation. Here is the scene → [view post]
While she was absorbed in her reading, something suddenly caught her attention. The shadow of a fox appeared on the wall. Its silhouette was so clear that it almost looked real. Fuka carefully looked around the room, trying to find what could have cast such a strange shadow, but nothing seemed capable of creating it. A few moments later, the shadow vanished without a trace.
The following day, back at work among old documents and archived photographs, Fuka tried to focus on her tasks. Yet her thoughts kept returning to that mysterious shadow. The more she searched for a logical explanation, the stronger the feeling grew that it had not been a simple trick of the light. Here is the scene → [view post]
That evening, as she walked home, she noticed a woman standing motionless on a street corner. She was dressed entirely in black, and a face mask concealed most of her features. The stranger seemed to be quietly watching the people passing by without moving an inch. Fuka slowed her pace for a moment, but when she looked in the woman’s direction again, she had disappeared.
The next morning, during her subway ride, Fuka felt a sudden chill. Sitting a few seats behind her was the very same woman. She wore the same black clothes and the same face mask. Fuka tried not to glance back too often, telling herself it had to be nothing more than a coincidence. Even so, the woman’s presence filled her with an unsettling feeling she could not ignore. Here is the scene → [view post]
Later that day, while walking through the city, Fuka met Sayuri. After greeting each other, she told her everything: the fox’s shadow, the woman dressed in black, and the strange encounter on the subway. Sayuri listened carefully, trying to reassure her by offering logical explanations, though none of them truly convinced Fuka. Here is the scene → [view post]
What neither of them realized was that, not far away, someone was quietly watching them. The woman dressed in black remained hidden among the crowd, carefully observing every move they made without drawing attention to herself.
After saying goodbye to Sayuri, Fuka stepped into a small café and ordered a cup of coffee. Sitting by the window, she absentmindedly stared into her cup while reflecting on everything that had happened over the past two days. A mysterious shadow. A stranger who kept appearing. And an unsettling feeling that someone was watching her. Here is the scene → [view post]
Perhaps they were only coincidences.
Or perhaps someone had already begun writing the first chapter of a mystery that was about to change her life.
One afternoon, Fuka met Kyoka and Sayuri for coffee and pastries at a cozy café in Tokyo. Here is the scene → [view post]
As they wandered through the city afterward, the three friends stopped in front of a shop displaying beautiful kimonos. What began as a quick look soon turned into an unexpected shopping trip. Here is the scene → [view post]
Unable to resist, they each chose a kimono they loved.
A little later, the three friends could be seen walking through the streets together, smiling and enjoying the afternoon in their new outfits.
Sometimes the best memories are the ones that were never planned.
Before leaving for work, Fuka spent a few quiet minutes practicing yoga at home.
It has become one of her favorite ways to start the day, helping her feel more focused and relaxed before facing Tokyo’s busy routine. Here is the scene → [view post]
Later, during a conversation at the office, some of her colleagues became curious about the practice. Fuka happily shared her experience, explaining how yoga helps improve flexibility, concentration, and overall well-being.
It was a simple conversation, but perhaps one that inspired someone to try something new. 🧘♀️🌸✨
One evening, Fuka went out with her camera to capture a few moments of Tokyo after sunset. Here is the scene → [view post]
While walking through a quiet street, she noticed a small traditional food stall glowing under the city lights. After taking a few photographs, she found herself drawn in by the warm atmosphere. Here is the scene → [view post]
Instead of continuing her walk, she decided to stop for a bowl of ramen.
Sometimes the best photographs lead to unexpected moments. 🍜📷🌙✨
And sometimes, a simple bowl of ramen is enough to make an ordinary evening memorable.
After returning from her trip to Osaka, Fuka quickly settles back into her usual routine in Tokyo. One morning, she leaves home as usual and heads to work with a cup of coffee in hand. The city is already awake, with commuters filling the streets and trains running on schedule. It seems destined to be a completely ordinary day. Here is the scene → [view post]
At least, that’s what Fuka believes.
When she arrives at the office and reaches her desk, she discovers something unexpected waiting for her: a single red rose.
There is no note attached to it. No name. No clue about who left it there.
For a few moments, Fuka simply stares at the flower in confusion.
A red rose is not exactly the kind of thing one finds on an office desk every day.
Unable to keep the mystery to herself, she immediately contacts her friends Kyoka and Sayuri. Before long, the three are exchanging messages and theories. Was it a secret admirer? A colleague? A prank? Or perhaps someone trying to send a message without revealing their identity? The more they discuss it, the more curious Fuka becomes. Here is the scene → [view post]
Meanwhile, Tokyo continues its daily rhythm. The streets remain busy, offices remain crowded, and life moves forward as if nothing unusual has happened. For Fuka, however, the mysterious rose remains impossible to ignore.
Even during her commute home, she finds herself thinking about it. Sitting on the train surrounded by other passengers, her thoughts repeatedly return to the same question: Who left the rose?
By the evening, her curiosity has grown into a full distraction. Back at home, while trying to prepare dinner, Fuka is still replaying every possibility in her mind. Unfortunately, her attention is focused far more on the rose than on the kitchen. As she reaches for the faucet, a faulty pipe suddenly sprays water everywhere. A second later, Fuka finds herself completely soaked. Standing in the middle of the kitchen, dripping wet and staring at the rebellious faucet, she cannot help but laugh. Here is the scene → [view post]
Perhaps solving the mystery of the rose will have to wait until tomorrow.
After all, she has a flooded kitchen to deal with first.
The second part of Fuka‘s journey in Osaka is dedicated to the people and memories that make her hometown so special.
One morning, Fuka accompanies her mother to a local market. Together they browse the stalls, choosing fresh ingredients and chatting about everyday things. It is a simple activity, yet one that Fuka has missed while living in Tokyo. Sharing these ordinary moments reminds her that some of life’s happiest memories are often found in the smallest routines. Back at home, she spends a quiet afternoon reflecting on her childhood. The familiar rooms, old photographs, and countless memories bring back thoughts of a carefree time filled with laughter, family gatherings, and dreams about the future. Although many years have passed, those memories remain an important part of who she is today. Here is the scene → [view post]
During her stay, Fuka also visits some elderly relatives she has not seen for quite some time. The reunion is filled with warm smiles, stories from the past, and genuine affection. Family ties often grow stronger with time, and Fuka treasures every opportunity to spend meaningful moments with the people who watched her grow up. Here is the scene → [view post]
One of the most touching moments of the visit takes place in their garden. Standing beside her relatives, Fuka admires the peaceful scenery while sharing a heartfelt embrace. The garden, carefully maintained over many years, becomes a symbol of continuity, family, and the passage of time.
Of course, no visit to Osaka would be complete without experiencing the city’s passion for football.
Fuka spends an exciting evening at the stadium supporting Cerezo Osaka in the historic derby against Gamba Osaka. Surrounded by thousands of passionate supporters, she enjoys the unique atmosphere that only a derby can create. The chants, the colors, and the energy of the crowd make it a memorable experience and another reminder of her connection to the city. Here is the scene → [view post]
Later, camera in hand, Fuka takes a walk through Dotonbori. The famous canal reflects the bright lights of the surrounding buildings, creating a scene that perfectly captures Osaka’s vibrant character. As always, she cannot resist taking photographs, preserving small moments that she hopes to remember for years to come.
Saying goodbye is never easy. Before leaving, Fuka shares a long embrace with her parents, grateful for the days spent together and the memories created during her visit. Although the farewell is emotional, it is softened by the knowledge that home will always be waiting for her. Here is the scene → [view post]
At the station, with her luggage ready and the train preparing to depart, Fuka turns back one last time and waves with a bright smile. It is a gesture not only for her family, but also for everyone who followed her journey through Osaka.
As the train begins its journey toward Tokyo, Fuka carries with her new photographs, precious memories, and a renewed appreciation for the place where her story began.
When she finally arrives home, she steps into her living room and takes a moment to look around. The familiar space welcomes her back after days spent reconnecting with family and revisiting old memories. Though the trip has come to an end, the feelings and experiences she gathered in Osaka remain close to her heart, accompanying her as she settles once again into everyday life. Thank you for joining her on this adventure. Until the next journey.
Fuka‘s trip to Osaka marks the first major chapter of her story to unfold over several days. It is a journey back to her hometown, filled with memories, family bonds, and places that have shaped her life.
The adventure begins aboard a train heading toward the Kansai region. Fuka appears especially cheerful during the journey. Sitting by the window, she enjoys the scenery rushing past while savoring a bento she purchased before departure. It is one of those simple moments that captures all the excitement of anticipation: the feeling that, kilometer after kilometer, she is getting closer to home. Here is the scene → [view post]
After several hours of travel, the train finally arrives in Osaka. Standing in front of the station, Fuka takes a moment to observe the constant movement of the city. Although she now lives in Tokyo, Osaka still holds a special place in her heart. Every corner tells a part of her story. Here is the scene → [view post]
The next stop is the most important one of the entire journey.
As soon as she arrives home, Fuka is welcomed by the warm embrace of her parents. It is a simple yet meaningful moment, one that instantly erases the distance that has built up over the months spent apart. Reuniting with her family is one of the main reasons that inspired this trip.
Over the following days, Fuka spends her time rediscovering the city where she grew up.
She walks through Osaka’s lively streets, exploring neighborhoods where modernity and tradition coexist. Bright signs, busy shops, and the endless flow of people create the vibrant atmosphere that makes the city instantly recognizable. Here is one scene → [view post]
Of course, she cannot miss one of the region’s most beloved specialties. During one of her urban explorations, Fuka stops to enjoy freshly made takoyaki. The familiar flavor brings back countless memories of childhood and outings spent with friends and family. Here is the scene → [view post]
As always, photography plays an important role in her days. With her camera around her neck, Fuka visits some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Osaka Castle. There, she spends time searching for the perfect shot, admiring the contrast between the historic fortress and the modern metropolis surrounding it.
This first chapter of Fuka’s journey to Osaka presents a cheerful and relaxed Fuka, reconnecting with her roots. Surrounded by family, familiar flavors, and meaningful places, her return to her hometown becomes an experience that beautifully brings together past and present.
At the beginning of April 2026, Fuka‘s life was still filled with quiet days, work, friendships, and small everyday discoveries.
One morning, while on her way to work, her attention was caught by a large advertising poster displayed along a street in Tokyo. The poster announced an upcoming concert by Wednesday Campanella, one of the most original and popular musical groups in Japan.
When the day of the concert finally arrived, the girls found themselves immersed in a vibrant and colorful atmosphere. Surrounded by lights, music, and energy, they enjoyed an evening unlike their usual routine, swept away by the excitement of the crowd and the performance on stage.
After the concert ended, Fuka, Kyoka, and Sayuri began their journey home, chatting about their favorite songs and the highlights of the evening. That was when something unexpected happened.
Along a quiet side street, they came across a large mural that none of them remembered seeing before.
The image was difficult to describe. It did not appear threatening in the traditional sense, yet it carried an unsettling feeling. There was something about the artwork that seemed out of place—something that drew the eye while at the same time encouraging the viewer to look away. The three friends remained silent for a few moments before continuing on their way.
That night, Fuka found it difficult to get the image out of her mind.
Later that day, through the group chat she shared with Kyoka and Sayuri, she discovered that she was not the only one thinking about it.Her friends remembered the encounter just as clearly.
The conversation soon turned into an exchange of theories and questions. None of them had any answers, but they all agreed on one thing: the mural had left an impression that was difficult to ignore. Here is the conversation → [view post]
Without realizing it, the three friends had just encountered one of the first mysteries that would cross Fuka’s path in the months to come.
Wednesday Campanella has been one of my favorite Japanese music groups for many years. Including them in Fuka’s story was my way of paying tribute to a band whose music has accompanied me on countless occasions and continues to inspire me during the creative process of writing Fuka’s story.
As the weeks passed, Fuka‘s world slowly began to take shape.
Not every image published during that period was part of a specific narrative sequence. Many simply captured small moments of everyday life, helping to define the atmosphere and personality of the character.
Some showed walks through the streets of Tokyo, while others portrayed quiet moments or brief scenes from daily life. They were simple images, created without the intention of telling a particular story, yet they still conveyed the spirit of the project’s early days.
Looking back at them today, these photographs offer a small glimpse into Fuka’s origins, when her world was still being built and many future stories had yet to be told. Here is an example → [view post]
The images collected in this article belong to that period. Although they are not connected by a common plot, together they help portray the peaceful and everyday atmosphere that would accompany Fuka from her very first steps.
The narrative phase began on March 28, 2026, with the publication of a simple sequence portraying a peaceful weekend in Fuka’s life.
On Saturday morning, Fuka met her friends Kyoka and Sayuri in central Tokyo. They did not have any particular plans; they simply wanted to spend a few hours together, strolling through the city and following their curiosity wherever it led them.
The three friends spent the morning browsing colorful shop windows and exploring busy stores. Sayuri, always energetic and spontaneous, was usually the first to stop whenever something caught her attention, while Kyoka carefully observed every detail with her more thoughtful nature. Fuka enjoyed following her friends, sharing laughter and lighthearted conversations along the way.
After several hours of shopping, they decided to stop for a meal together. Sitting around a table, they spent their lunch chatting without any hurry. It was precisely these simple moments, filled with friendship and serenity, that made the day special.
On Sunday, however, Fuka chose to spend some time enjoying a peaceful walk surrounded by nature.
For this reason, she visited Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, one of Tokyo’s most beautiful parks. As soon as she passed through its gates, the fast pace of the city seemed to fade away, replaced by a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Walking along the garden’s paths, Fuka admired the green trees, the carefully maintained lawns, and the many visitors enjoying the pleasant weather. Some walked slowly through the grounds, while others sat reading or resting beneath the shade of the trees. Everywhere, there was a comforting sense of peace.
During her walk, Fuka decided to take a short break. She found a bench in a quiet area of the garden and sat down to enjoy a simple onigiri she had brought with her. As she watched the scenery and the people passing nearby, she allowed herself to be immersed in the tranquil atmosphere of the park.
With this final moment of quiet reflection, the simple five-image sequence came to an end. It had been created to convey a feeling of happiness, harmony, and tranquility—capturing the beauty of an ordinary weekend in Tokyo.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the early stages of this project was telling the story of the small moments that made up Fuka’s everyday life.
It was not necessary to rely on major events or extraordinary situations to create a story. Sometimes, a morning at the office, a walk through the streets of Tokyo, or a few quiet minutes spent at home while the afternoon light streamed through the window were enough. It was precisely these simple moments that made a character feel alive and believable.
Over time, Fuka shared workdays, photographs taken during her urban explorations, visits to cafés, train journeys, and small moments of domestic tranquility with her followers. Each image became a fragment of her daily life, a way of observing the world through her eyes.
However, during the final ten days of March 2026, something began to change. The project gradually started moving in a different direction. The images were no longer simply isolated snapshots; they began to connect with one another through narrative sequences.
This evolution opened up new possibilities. Instead of telling a single moment, it became possible to follow Fuka through multiple consecutive scenes: watching a situation unfold, showing emotions developing over time, and building small narrative arcs capable of extending across several days.
Everyday life remained at the heart of the project, but the way it was told became more sophisticated. Here is an example → [view post]
Even today, one of the elements that makes the project special is the opportunity to accompany Fuka through her daily life. It is in the small gestures, familiar places, and simplest emotions that her stories find their authenticity. Here is an example → [view post]
As the Fuka project continued to grow, I slowly began to realize that certain themes kept returning to my mind. One of them was the fox.
In Japanese folklore, foxes have a special place. They can be mysterious, playful, wise, or even supernatural. During the earliest stages of the project, small references to foxes occasionally appeared in images and ideas, but they were little more than hints. At the time, I had not yet decided what role they would play in the story.
Eventually, however, I understood that the theme of the kitsune was something I wanted to explore.
The first significant encounter between Fuka and a fox became an important moment, not only within the narrative but also in my understanding of the project itself. Looking back, it feels like one of the first signs that the story wanted to move beyond simple everyday scenes and toward something deeper and more mysterious. At the time, neither the plot nor the mythology behind the project had been fully developed. Yet that encounter created questions, emotions, and possibilities that would influence future stories.
Fuka’s concern following the encounter gave me an opportunity to create one of the first genuinely warm moments between her and Tetsuya. Until then, his presence in the project was still relatively new, but this small interaction helped establish a connection between the two characters.
The scene itself was simple, but it showed how even a small narrative event could serve multiple purposes: introducing a new theme, developing a character, and strengthening a relationship.
Sometimes an important creative realization does not arrive as a grand revelation.
Sometimes it arrives quietly, in the shape of a fox crossing the path of a young photographer.
As the first followers slowly began to arrive, I found myself asking a simple question: what story did I really want to tell?
At that stage, the Fuka project was still in its early days. Images were being published regularly, ideas were taking shape, and new characters were appearing. Yet the overall plot remained uncertain. I had several pieces of a puzzle, but I still didn’t know exactly what the final picture would look like.
Rather than forcing a direction, I decided to leave room for inspiration. Sometimes creative projects need time to grow naturally, and I hoped that sooner or later the right idea would arrive. Here is an example → [view post]
Even without a clear storyline, a few important pillars were already supporting the world of Fuka.
The first was Fuka herself. From the beginning, she was imagined as a young woman with a passion for photography, someone who enjoyed observing the world around her and capturing small moments through her camera. Photography was not simply a hobby; it was the lens through which she experienced life. Here is an example → [view post]
The second pillar was the friendship between Fuka, Kyoka, and Sayuri. The three characters quickly became the emotional center of the project. Their different personalities created opportunities for conversations, shared experiences, and future adventures.
Another important element was mystery. I knew that I wanted the story to contain unanswered questions and hidden truths. At the time, however, this idea was still evolving. I could feel that mystery would eventually become an important part of the narrative, but I had not yet discovered its final form.
Below is a small sequence of images related to the mystery: image 1, image 2 and image 3.
The fourth pillar was the connection with contemporary Japan. From the beginning, I wanted Fuka’s world to feel alive and connected to reality. Seasonal events, daily life, cultural traditions, and even sporting events taking place in modern Japan could become part of the narrative, helping to create a world that felt authentic and familiar.
As I continued exploring different possibilities, another piece was added to the puzzle.
A new character began appearing in some images: Tetsuya.
At first, his role was not fully defined. He was simply another presence within Fuka’s world. Over time, however, Tetsuya would become much more important. His arrival opened the door to new relationships, new emotions, and eventually a romantic dimension that would add another layer to the story.
The destination was still unclear, but the foundations were slowly taking shape.
During the early days of the project, most of Fuka‘s images were created as standalone moments. Each picture told its own small story, capturing a feeling, a place, or a simple moment from her life. One image was usually enough to tell everything I wanted to share.
That changed on March 15.
For the first time, I experimented with a very short visual story told across three separate posts published on the same day. It was a simple sequence: Fuka visited a park with her camera, spent some time photographing small birds, and later showed her pictures to a group of children who were curious to see what she had captured.
Looking back, it was a very small story, but it represented an important step. Instead of presenting a single moment, I was now connecting multiple moments together and allowing a narrative to unfold over time.
Compared to today’s stories, the sequence was still quite simple. The characters were less developed, the narrative was shorter, and the storytelling techniques were still evolving. Yet it introduced something new: movement, progression, and a sense that one event could naturally lead to another.
In many ways, that three-post sequence was the first glimpse of the storytelling style that would later become a defining part of Fuka’s world. It was not yet the rich and interconnected narrative that exists today, but it marked the beginning of a new direction for the project.
Sometimes the most important changes start with something very small. For Fuka, that first mini story was one of those moments.
When I first created Fuka, she was not alone. From the very beginning, Kyoka was by her side, acting as her closest friend and companion. Their friendship quickly became an important part of the stories, adding warmth, support, and meaningful conversations to Fuka’s everyday life.
However, after only a few weeks, I felt that something was still missing. Fuka’s world was growing, and I wanted to give her another close friend who could bring a different energy and perspective to the group. That idea led to the creation of Sayuri, the cheerful green-haired girl who would soon become an essential part of the story.
With Sayuri’s arrival, everything seemed to fall into place. The dynamic between Fuka, Kyoka, and Sayuri felt natural from the very beginning. Each character brought her own personality, creating moments of friendship, laughter, support, and adventure that would not have been possible otherwise.
The trio became the perfect balance for Fuka’s moments of leisure and everyday life. More importantly, Kyoka and Sayuri became Fuka’s most trusted confidantes, the friends she could always rely on during both happy and difficult times.
Looking back, adding Sayuri was one of the best decisions I made for the project. Together, the three friends helped shape the heart of Fuka’s world and made her journey feel richer, warmer, and more alive.
